301 1st Avenue North is located at the corner of 24th Street East and 1st Avenue North in downtown Saskatoon. It is one phase of the development of 2/3 of an entire city block by Gayle MacDonald of Legacy Land Inc. The two storey building had been vacant for a number of years before it was purchased by Legacy Land. The renovation and upgrades to the exterior and interior of this building represent a very positive step for downtown Saskatoon as maintaining [instead of demolishing] heritage warehouses in the downtown of any city is a crucial issue. The project is a perfect example of “adaptive re-use” as the tenant mix can include Retail, Office or Restaurant.
