The University of Saskatchewan [USask] purchased the Forestry Centre building in 2018 to allow for the existing USask programs in Prince Albert to be consolidated into one building. The new building includes programs which are currently located in 3 separate locations. Programs offered include Medicine, Dentistry, Arts & Science and first year offerings in Kinesiology and Nutrition. The facility is viewed as the creation of a campus “hub” which consolidates existing programs but also will integrate new programs into a centralized learning and community-based hub.
