The design begins with the site plan. The example above shows the building program and size as it is designed to conform to zoning regulations (set back, parking, landscapin, etc.). This example shows a thre-story, mixed use building.

Above you’ll see the sketches of the 220 Wall Street Office building and the WBM office building. These show the development of early ideas for exterior design, materials, and shape in response to the site. 220 Wall Street (bottom sketch), has the “memory” of the outline of the previous warehouses on the site sandblasted into the ground floor exposed concrete floor.

Above you’ll see a snapshot of modelling process as we modelled the WBM office building to further develop the design. During this period the floor plans are also being developed in collaboration with the clients and engineering consultants.

It all begins with an idea. Interior renderings begin as schematic black and white images that are developed in client meetings. The renderings then become more finalized and finishes and colours are added. The above example is of a collaborative meeting space for a technology client.

The final step in the design process is to develop exterior renderings that combine all the ideas of the sketches, models, floor plans, into a final design. Above you’ll see an exterior rendering of the Kreos Aviation executive terminal at the Regina Airport.
