Located in the Riversdale Community on Avenue B, in between 21st and 22nd Street West. The site is 1 ½ blocks from the shops, restaurants, and theatre of 20th Street West.

The client’s instructions from the beginning of the project were to “design a building that creates activity at the street level and also invites the public into a lively, active, colourful interior courtyard – similar to Granville Island in Vancouver.” Currently most of the development focus has been on 20th Street and south towards the river. This development will be instrumental in pulling the focus further north to open up the areas for development in Riversdale.
