CFN Construction hired KSA Group in the summer of 2024 to design two apartment buildings on 75’ wide lots that conformed to the brand-new City of Saskatoon zoning bylaw to promote housing along the new Bus Rapid Transit route

The drawings and image below represent the design research, site and plan sketches and images from the design for each of the sites:

  1. 415 18th Street West

  2. 201 Avenue E North

The design process is in these stages:

  1. Site analysis

  2. Research of design precedents from around the world for similar building types

  3. Zoning review in parallel with a Code review and conformance to CMHC funding requirements

  4. Sketches and physical models in parallel with exterior rendering

Each building is planned to start construction in the first ½ of 2025.
